> Raw clinical files stay on the user's device. Meddies Redact is a public, device-local tool for redacting clinical PDFs and images.

## Workflow

- Supported inputs are PDF, PNG, or JPEG.
- The workflow is select → redact → review and edit → confirm → download.
- The standalone tool does not upload the source document.

## Review authority

- Suggested regions are assistive and may miss private information. Human review is authoritative before download.
- Meddies Redact is not a compliance certification or a guarantee of perfect detection. It is not an autonomous clinical decision tool.
